Ogunbote fumes after Shooting Stars’ draw against Katsina United

Shooting Stars head coach Gbenga Ogunbote has described the recent poor run of form of his team as a temporary setback.

The Oluyole Warriors extended their unbeaten run to three games after they held Katsina United to a 1-1 draw on Sunday.

Ogunbote admitted that the recent results were not the best for the team but believed the tide will soon change.

He, however, expressed disappointment in the strikers for not taking their chances.

“It is not too good for us, but I think it is a temporary set back, it is not a disaster. We need to pick our pieces and get it right to get back to winning ways if actually we want to get meaningful results,” he told the club’s media.

“We still have about five days to prepare for the game, at this juncture, all hands must be on deck, we must make sure we do our best to get a positive result there,” he said.

Shooting Stars dropped to sixth position on the table following the result.
