Kogi pilgrims commences enlightenment programme ahead of Ummrah in Macca

Pilgrims from Kogi State have commenced enlightenment programme to educate them on how to perform Ummrah on their arrival at the Holy city of Macca

According to official information from the city of Madina, the enlightenment commenced on Saturday 25 May, 2024, after the Ishai prayers in preparation for the Ummrah.

The Amirul Hajj, Justice Siyaka MomohJimoh Usman, admonished pilgrims on the need to adhere strictly to the rules guiding Hajj operation, which have been handed over to them.

He appreciated the pilgrims for conducting themselves well so far and appealed to them to listen to their officials during the lecture so that they can perform an acceptable Hajj.

He cautioned pilgrims against reckless spending and wandering around.
