Two notorious members of the Lakurawa group terrorizing residents of Rubin Bisa and Fana area of Dandi Local Government Area of Kebbi State have been killed.
The Director of Security, Cabinet Office in Birnin Kebbi, AbdulRahman Zagga said the terrorists were killed by operatives of the Joint Task Force in the State.
According to Zagga, other members of the terrorist group managed to flee with gunshot wounds.
He also stated that sophisticated weapons and several items were recovered from the fleeing terrorists during the operation carried out by the operatives on Wednesday.
In addition, Zagga said the operatives swung into action following intelligence reports on the activities of the terrorists in the area.
