Former Manchester City striker, Emmanuel Adebayor has hailed Bukoyo Saka of Arsenal ahead of the Gunners potentially Premier League title decider against Manchester City on Wednesday.
Adebayor believes the 21-year-old does not seem like a player who is affected by negativity, adding that the England international has already shown how mature he is despite his young age.
After missing a penalty during a shootout at the Euro 2020 tournament, Saka was one of the players who was racially abused by England fans.
The 21-year-old was targeted again after he missed a spot kick against West Ham in one of their latest draws.
But Adebayor believes the youngster will put all that behind him.
He told Wetbasis: “Bukayo gives the impression that he’s strong in the head. Such negative experiences will certainly bring him further in his maturing process.
“He’s a smart kid who will learn from it, I’m sure of that. He’s proven many times that he can handle pressure very well.”
