ReachOut Nigeria with Rhapsody of Realities has announced plans to distribute 100 million copies of the Christian devotional across Nigeria as it marks its 20th edition.
The nationwide campaign, themed “Celebrating 20 Years of Impact, Taking Rhapsody to Every Man’s World,” coincides with Nigeria’s 66th Independence Anniversary.
Organisers said the campaign would cover all 774 Local Government Areas of the country, targeting adults, youths, teenagers and children, as well as people with accessibility needs in cities, towns, villages and remote communities.
ReachOut Nigeria said the initiative, which began in 2007, was established to inspire hope, promote patriotism and empower Nigerians through the message of God’s Word.
Over the years, the campaign has expanded beyond the mass distribution of Rhapsody of Realities to include humanitarian and community development programmes.
According to the organisers, its interventions have included potable water projects, support for schools and libraries, healthcare initiatives, renovation and assistance to public institutions, as well as other projects aimed at addressing the needs of communities across Nigeria.
Rhapsody of Realities in 8,123 Languages
At the centre of the campaign is Rhapsody of Realities, authored by Rev. Dr Chris Oyakhilome.
The organisers said the devotional is currently available in 8,123 languages and more than 4,000 dialects, with adult, teenage and children’s editions produced in print, digital and audio formats, as well as Braille and Sign Language versions.
As part of activities marking the 20th edition, ReachOut Nigeria said the devotional would be distributed across the country in indigenous Nigerian languages and different accessible formats.
The campaign is targeting translations into 1,009 Nigerian languages, with the organisers saying 650 are already represented in print.
ReachOut Nigeria also plans to provide 200 boreholes in 200 communities as part of several community development projects accompanying the anniversary campaign.
Campaign to Feature 10 Dimensions of Impact
Throughout October, activities will be organised under what ReachOut Nigeria described as its “10 Dimensions of Impact.”
These include crusades, church growth, community transformation, community reading outreaches, street expressions, conferences, media and exhibitions, concerts and praise experiences, Champions League and games, ReachOut Community of Practice, and ReachOut to Schools.
Other activities scheduled for the month include school and community outreaches, carnivals, floats and processions, sports and youth programmes, professional outreaches, conferences and exhibitions.
The programme will also feature a National Day of Prayer and 31 consecutive days of the ReachOut Nigeria Live Show.
A special ReachOut Nigeria Symposium is scheduled for October 30 to highlight the campaign’s 20-year journey, community interventions, innovations and testimonies of beneficiaries.
Organisers said the 2026 campaign would extend to offices, shops, schools, military and paramilitary barracks, communities and public transportation systems, including buses, trains and airplanes.
They described the 20th edition as both a celebration of the campaign’s achievements over the past two decades and a renewed commitment to using the Word of God to transform lives while encouraging Nigerians to contribute meaningfully to their communities and the country.
