Kogi Projector For Good Governance facilitates Recruitment of 400 Indigenes in Fertilizer Company

In a bid to reduce unemployment, the Kogi Projector For Good Governance (KPFGG) has facilitated the recruitment of 400 indigenes from across the 21 Local Government Areas of Kogi State, in a private fertilizer firm located in Jamata area of Lokoja Local Government of the state.

The Director-General of Kogi Projector For Good Governance, KPFGG, His Eminence, Isah David Ohinoyi, disclosed this on Tuesday in Lokoja, after the recruitment exercise.

According to him, the recruitment was conducted on behalf of United Fertilizer Company Limited, situated along the Lokoja-Abuja road.

“We have conducted interviews for the applicants and all documentation has been concluded. The successful applicants are 400 and would resume duty immediately,” the DG said.

He added that the company has secured accommodation for all the 400 new workers close to the factory to ease their movement and welfare.

The DG further revealed that the organisation has carried out several consultancy jobs for many reputable companies, especially in the area of recruitment, trainings, skill acquisition programmes for indigenous youths and women in the state.

One of the successful applicants, Isa Mahmud Bakabi from Ajaokuta LGA , expressed appreciation to Kogi Projector For Good Governance for the opportunity, saying he was happy to be among those selected.

Another beneficiary, Usman Aliyu Baba From Kogi East said he would not betray the trust reposed in him, and urged other successful applicants to abide by the rules and regulations laid down by the company.
