Tinubu makes four new appointments in Federal Civil Service

‎Bola Ahmed Tinubu has approved the appointment of four new Permanent Secretaries to fill existing vacancies in the Federal Civil Service.


‎The newly appointed Permanent Secretaries are: Warrens Bekearedebo Augusta from Bayelsa State; Jones-Nebo Nkiruka Bella from Enugu State; Aminu Sani Yargaya from Kano State; and Shoretire Ayinda Kamil from Ogun State.


‎According to a statement from the government, the appointments followed what was described as a rigorous and transparent selection process.


‎The presidency said the appointments align with the administration’s commitment to meritocracy, professionalism, and excellence within the civil service.


‎Officials noted that the newly appointed Permanent Secretaries bring extensive experience and expertise that will help strengthen public service delivery and support the government’s development agenda.


‎Reacting to the development, the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, Didi Esther Walson-Jack, commended the President for prioritising transparency and professionalism in the civil service.


‎She said the appointments demonstrate the administration’s commitment to building a competent and results-driven public service.


‎Walson-Jack added that strengthening the leadership structure of the civil service would improve governance and ensure that public institutions better serve the needs of Nigerians.
