UPDATED] Alleged Wire Tapping: Court Orders El-Rufai To Enter Defense

‎Justice Joyce Abdulmalik of the Federal High Court, Abuja, has ordered the former governor of Kaduna State, Nasir El-Rufai, to enter his defence if he so desires in his ongoing trial over his alleged unlawful interception of the telephone communications of the National Security Adviser (NSA), Nuhu Ribadu.

‎

‎Justice Abdulmalik issued the order while ruling on a no-case submission made by El-Rufai on Monday.

‎

‎The Judge dismissed the no-case submission because there is sufficient evidence furnished by the prosecution to warrant the court calling on the defendant to enter his defence if he so desires.
