They’re title contenders – Pochettino names team to challenge Man City, Arsenal

Chelsea manager, Mauricio Pochettino has admitted that Tottenham “are title contenders” ahead of their Premier League clash on Monday.

Pochettinho also said he is “so happy” for Ange Postecoglou’s great start to life at his former club.

The game will be the 51-year-old’s first return to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium since he was sacked in 2019.

When asked whether he thought Spurs were title contenders, Pochettino said “yes” during a press conference on Friday.

On Tottenham’s start to the season, he added: “I’m so happy for him and the club to be doing really well. We cannot forget all that happened there. It’s normal that we are very positive and grateful people.

“When people are doing well at the club I have been at, we keep these links and always we are happy when the club does well.”
