Sallah Celebrations: Obasanjo Visits Tinubu’s Wife

Former President Olusegun Obasanjo visited First Lady Oluremi Tinubu to celebrate the Sallah holiday, on Monday.

Special Assistant to the First Lady on Media and Publicity, Busola Kukoyi, disclosed this in a tweet.

She shared a picture of the former President with her principal.

The tweet was captioned: ‘’Former President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria Chief Olusegun Obasanjo and the First Lady of the Federal of Nigeria Senator Oluremi Tinubu after receiving the Former President who came felicitating on the Sallah Celebration on Monday 17th June.”

It is unclear if Obasanjo met with the president during the visit.

The visit comes after Obasanjo accused Tinubu of wrongly implementing his policies.

In a statement which his Special Assistant on Media, Kehinde Akinyemi, issued on his behalf, Obasanjo also condemned Nigeria’s approach to the coup in the Republic of Niger.
