Rivers United coach Eguma thumbs up Lobi Stars after defeat to title rivals

Rivers United head coach, Stanley Eguma has kind words for Lobi Stars despite his team losing to their title rivals in a rescheduled Nigeria Premier Football League matchday 11 encounter on Wednesday.

Lobi Stars won the thrilling encounter 3-2 at the New Jos Stadium, Jos.

Eguma said the host proved they deserve their position on the table with their impressive performance.

“Lobi Stars demonstrated why they have ruffled few feathers in the league this season,” Eguma said in a post match interview.

“They have an attack that move with pace and purpose which has continue to give them the much needed results.”

Rivers United are six points behind Lobi Stars on the Group B table.
