Real Madrid head coach, Carlo Ancelotti has named defender Dani Carvajal as the Los Blancos player that never lets him down in big games.
Ancelotti said this after Real Madrid defeated Chelsea in the Champions League quarter-final first-leg tie on Wednesday night.
Recall that two goals from Karim Benzema and Marco Asensio gave Real Madrid the victory over Chelsea at Santiago Bernabeu.
“He [Carvajal] never lets you down in the big games and much of the credit for the pressure we tried to employ high up came through him down the right-hand side of Chilwell,” Ancelotti said at his post-match press conference.
Real Madrid will take on Chelsea in the reverse fixture next week at Stamford Bridge.
