Rangers get royal blessing ahead of Federation Cup final vs Insurance

The paramount ruler of Asagba Kingdom, Asaba, H.R.H Obi Chike Edozien, has charged Rangers to go for victory in Wednesday’s Federation Cup final.

Players and officials of the Coal City club paid a courtesy call to his Kingdom on Tuesday.

The delegation was led by the Administrative Secretary of the club, Barrister Ferdinand Ugwuarua and other top management staff.

The nonagenarian charged Abdul Maikaba’s led side to be at their best in other to achieve their target.

Ugwuarua seeks the blessing of the land after the remarkable 2018 achievement in Asaba.

It would be recalled that Rangers rallied from a 3-0 down to beat Kano Pillars on penalties in a thrilling final contest.

Rangers will lock horns with Bendel Insurance today at the Stephen Keshi Stadium in the finals of the 2023 Federation Cup.
