Adejobi said investigation revealed that the breech number of the AK-47 had been wiped off but still, the magazine bore the Nigeria Police colour, suggesting they must have been carted away during attacks on police formations.

Also, in other operation, the operatives of the Jigawa State Command, in conjunction with local vigilantes while acting on credible intelligence, stormed the Dangoli Fulani camp of Kiyawa Local Government Area where they arrested two suspects in connection with a case of culpable homicide and robbery.

Adejobi named the suspects as Bello Usman and Musa Babangida.

He gave the exhibits recovered from the two as AK-47 riffles, four magazines, 68 rounds of live ammunition, one constructed leg chain, eight handsets, one Boxer motorcycle with Reg No. LSR 206 QP, ECOWAS Passport belonging to one Mu’azu Abubakar, cash sum of N221,000, five sim cards and one solar panel.
