Chelsea manager, Mauricio Pochettino, has clarified the goalkeeping situation in the squad.
Speaking to reporters on Friday ahead of their Premier League opener, Pochettino noted that Kepa Arizabalaga is his first choice.
Kepa, who has been linked with a move to Bayern Munich this summer, is likely to start against Liverpool on Sunday.
“Sánchez and Kepa know they are going to fight for the n1 position. At the moment, Kepa is a little bit ahead.
“With time, we will see if Robert is there and can challenge Kepa,” Pochettino said on Kepa.
Sanchez moved to Stamford Bridge from Brighton this summer for a £25 million fee.
