Peter Obi, former Anambra State governor and Labour Party presidential candidate in the 2023 elections, has donated N10 million to the Mater Misericordiae College of Nursing Sciences in Afikpo, Ebonyi State.
Obi, who revealed this in a social media post, reaffirmed his dedication to education, healthcare, and empowerment as key development drivers.
Obi praised the institution’s legacy in training healthcare professionals since its establishment in 1946.
Speaking to students, he emphasized the increasing global demand for medical professionals and urged them to remain committed to their studies.
Obi also commended the institution’s staff for their dedication and acknowledged the Ebonyi State Government’s support in advancing healthcare education.
