Persons Living With Disabilities Protest At Abia Assembly

Some persons living with disabilities blocked the entrance of the Abia State House of Assembly on Tuesday over the House’s refusal to pass the bill on disability.

Speaking on behalf of the group, the state chairman, Joint Association of Persons Living With Disabilities, Wisdom Okechukwu Kalu, said “This is eight years that our bill has been lying down in the state House of Assembly.”
