Pep Guardiola singles out one Man City player after Bayern win

Manchester City boss, Pep Guardiola has hailed Bernardo Silva’s performance in their 3-0 win over Bayern Munich in the Champions League quarter-final first leg.

According to the Spaniard, Silva is one of the best players he has ever trained.

The Portugal midfielder scored the second goal and tormented the visitors’ defence all through the game.

Silva also did an important defensive job in controlling Bayern left-back Alphonso Davies.

“He is a player who you say is going to play in that position and you do not have to say anything else.

“I have been lucky to coach some very good players for Barca and Bayern.

“He is one of the best players I ever trained in my life, ever. He is something special as a football player,” Guardiola said.
