PDP mourns former Acting National Secretary, Aderemi Akitoye

‎The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has expressed sorrow over the passing of Prince Dr Aderemi Akitoye.


‎Akitoye served as Acting National Secretary of the PDP and was a member of the party’s Board of Trustees.


‎The PDP, in a statement, signed by Ini Ememobong, the National Publicity Secretary under Kabiru Turaki, said, “It is with a huge sense of loss that we extend our deepest condolences to the Lagos State Chapter of our great party on the painful passing of a party icon, Prince Dr Aderemi Akitoye.


‎“As a pillar of strength within our party, his leadership style was admired by all, especially the staff of the secretariat, and life was defined by unwavering commitment to the ideals of democracy and good governance.


‎“It is our prayer that Almighty God will grant his soul eternal rest and comfort all his survivors with the grace to bear this irreparable loss.


‎“Please accept the heartfelt condolences of the national leadership, members and staff of the PDP.”
