Owen Hargreaves names player Antony will replace in Man United XI 

Former Bayern Munich midfielder, Owen Hargreaves has named the player Antony Santos would displace in Manchester United’s XI.

According to Hargreaves, youngster, Anthony Elanga, will have to make way for the £85 million former Ajax star.

Asked who Antony will replace in Manchester United’s team, Hargreaves told BT Sport, “Antony Elanga will come out.

“Antony will play on the right-hand side, Jadon will go to the left and Marcus [Rashford] and Anthony [Martial] will be the two with Cristiano [Ronaldo] up top.

“When you pay that money for a player, he’s going to play, he has to play.”

Manchester United spent a massive £214 million in the just concluded transfer window as Erik Ten Hag set about transforming the squad.

The loan signing of Martin Dubravka on deadline day completed Man United’s business following the arrivals of Antony, Casemiro, Lisandro Martinez, Christian Eriksen and Tyrell Malacia.

And Hargreaves pointed out that a player signed for as huge as £85 million would not sit on the bench but has to play constantly.
