NYSC reveals when Batch ‘C’ Corps members will pass out

The National Youth Service Corps, NYSC, has revealed that Batch ‘C’ Stream One Corps members will pass out in October.

The Director-General of NYSC, Brigadier General YD Ahmed, stated this on Monday in Abuja.

Corps members have also been warned not to embark on night journeys as they return to their families.

He said the Scheme had mapped week-long activities for the outgoing Corps members, which include job creation and employment opportunities after service, which would be handled by experienced officers from NYSC and the National Directorate of Employment (NDE).

He added that the distribution of certificates would be done on a Local Government basis on Thursday, 12th October, 2023.

The DG commended their invaluable contributions to national development, especially their performances during the 2023 general elections, as their interventions in the health, education, rural development and other sectors of the economy.

General Ahmed also advised the corps members to uphold the ideals of patriotism, diligence, loyalty, and self-empowerment they learnt during service.
