NWFL: 2022/23 season to kick-off November 30

The 2022/23 Nigeria Women’s Football League (NWFL) season will kick off on Wednesday, November 30.

Chief Operating Officer of the NWFL, Modupe Shabi announced the date in a letter addressed to all clubs on Friday.

All matchday one fixtures will hold the same day.

Defending champions, Bayelsa Queens will open the defence of their title against Rivers Angels at the Samson Siasia Stadium, Yenagoa.

At the Aper Aku Stadium, Makurdi, former champions, Nasarawa Amazons will do battle with Edo Queens.

The Larry Leke Stadium will entertain the fixture between Osun Babes and Royal Queens.

Naija Ratels and Heartland Queens will clash at the Old Parade Ground.

Meanwhile, FC Robo Queens will keep a date with Abia Angels.

Completing the schedule is the match between Adamawa Queens and Ibom Angels.
