NSCDC parades eight suspects for electricity theft in Osun

The Osun State Command of the Nigeria Security And Civil Defence Corps has paraded eight suspects arrested in a sting operation at various locations in Osogbo, the state capital, over alleged electricity theft.

The suspects, six males and two females, were arrested at Ogo-Oluwa/Alekuwodo axis based on credible information of engaging in bypassing electricity supply to their residents to evade necessary payment.

The Osun NSCDC Commandant, Sunday Agboola, while parading the suspects disclosed that his command is ready more than before to curb activities of vandals, economic saboteurs and energy thieves, reaffirming the command’s zero tolerance for crime.

He charged members of the public to desist from act capable of throwing the state into darkness and economic hardship.

Agboola promised readiness of men and officers of the command to double their efforts in curbing the state of those who vandalism critical government infrastructure.
