Nigeria vs Lesotho: Super Eagles receive injury boost ahead of World Cup qualifier

Bruno Onyemaechi has been declared fit to play against Lesotho in a 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying fixture on Thursday.

Onyemaechi was a doubt for the encounter after he was substituted in the second half of Boavista’s 3-1 home defeat to CD Feirense last weekend.

The defender trained separately from his Super Eagles teammates during their first training on Tuesday.

However, he was however involved in full training on Wednesday night.

The 24-year-old has already made three appearances for Nigeria and could add to that against the Crocodiles.
