Anas appointed Zamfara United new General Manager

The Zamfara State Government has appointed Anas Abdullahi as the general manager of the club.

Abdullahi replaces Honourable Ishiaku James, who vacates the position.

The appointment was confirmed in a letter from the Executive Secretary of the State Sports Council, Honourable Ishiaku James.

Abdullahi’s appointment was in recognition of his experience and contribution towards the development of sports in the state.

The former player of the club is expected to resume duties with immediate effect.

Zamfara United are currently participating in the Nigeria National League.

United were defeated 1-0 by Nasarawa United in their 2023-24 NNL opening day fixture.
