Ndah confirms end to FC One Rocket NPL promotion bid

FC One Rocket coach, Ndubuisi Ndah has confirmed that their hope of qualifying for the Nigeria Premier League is over.

The Akwa Ibom based team suffered a 1-0 defeat against Heartland in the matchday two encounter at the ongoing Nigeria National League Super Eight playoffs.

The result makes it FC One Rocket’s second defeat in the promotion playoff after losing to Sporting Lagos in their opening day fixture.

The Akwa Ibom-based side are currently bottom of the Southern Conference group.

Ndah opined that despite the setback, his team can still prove themselves in their last game.

“It’s all over for FC One Rocket in the quest for NPL promotion,” he told newsmen in Asaba.

“We have no mathematical chance of securing the ticket.

“Despite the setback, the boys will still give their best in our last game,” he said.
