Malud: Ortom salutes Muslims, calls for peaceful co-existence 

Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom has again preached the message of Justice, fairness and equity to Nigerians as a panacea to the unabating security challenges in the country .

Ortom in a goodwill message to Muslim faithful on the celebration of Eid Malud, urged adherents of Islam to imbibe the deep spiritual virtues which the Holy Prophet Muhammad exemplified.

The Governor canvassed for religious tolerance between and among various religious groups saying that such will guarantee peace, security and harmony in the country.

He tasked the Muslim Umah to dedicate the period of the celebration to pray for peace and unity of Nigeria especially as the 2023 elections approaches.

Governor Ortom advocated that all Nigerians should get involved in the process of peace building in order to get the country to work for the good of all citizens.

He wishes Nigerians a peaceful and successful celebration.

Eid -Malud is celebrated every year to commemorate the birth of Prophet Muhammad.
