Manchester United forward, Cristiano Ronaldo, has reacted after making history following his side’s Premier League 2-1 win over Everton on Sunday.
Ronaldo became the first football player in the world to reach the 700th club goal after scoring in his side’s victory against Everton.
The five-time Ballon d’Or winner came off the bench to score Man United’s second goal against Everton at Goodison Park.
A goal from the Portugal captain and a strike from Antony gave Erik ten Hag’s men all three points against Frank Lampard’s men.
Nigerian international Alex Iwobi did score for Everton against Man United.
Reacting, Ronaldo, in a tweet via his Twitter handle after the game, described his side’s victory against the Toffees as a great win.
According to the former Real Madrid star, it is another step in the right direction.
