Chelsea boss, Mauricio Pochettino has lauded two Chelsea players after the Blues beat Fulham to lift the Premier League Summer Series trophy.
Chelsea beat Fulham 2-0 to lift the trophy in the United States with Thiago Silva and Christopher Nkunku on the scoresheet.
Pochettino hailed his Argentine compatriot, Enzo Fernandez after the game.
He also reserved praise for lan Maatsen.
“Always it is a pleasure [to have Fernandez],” the former Tottenham and Paris Saint-Germain boss said
“He is very humble, he is a fighter also and is a fantastic player, world champion with Argentina and I am so proud.
“It is a pleasure when you have a player like him in the squad.”
On Maatsen he added, “I am so happy because his performance didn’t change.”
