I’m not hurt by Chelsea’s problems – Lampard

Chelsea boss Frank Lampard momentarily lost count of how many managers the club has hired and fired this season.

The Blues have found life difficult this season, sitting 12th in the top flight of English football.

Only this season have the Blues, under new owners, led by American businessman, Todd Boehly, hired four managers, namely Thomas Tuchel, Graham Potter, who came on a permanent basis, Bruno Saltor, and now Frank Lampard.

But the former Chelsea midfielder and club legend appeared to forget about one of the coaches before correcting himself.

Lampard addressed the press on Friday ahead of this weekend’s fixture.

He said: “We’ve had three…four managers through the season; that is the reality of the club where we are at.”

Lampard has been defeated in all six games he has been in charge of since his return to Stamford.
