I will use World Cup break to recover, improve – Chelsea boss Potter

Chelsea manager, Graham Potter, has admitted it has been tough adapting to the club’s fixture schedule.

Potter replaced Thomas Tuchel in September.

After a fine start at Stamford Bridge, the team has suffered a dip lately.

The former Brighton boss is under scrutiny already, with defeat to Arsenal in the Premier League followed by a Carabao Cup exit in the hands of Manchester City.

“I’ve come from Brighton, where everything was pretty much organised over a three-year period.

“You have to deal with all that’s going on and the amount of matches you play, and then you need a bit of time to reflect – if there is that time.

“There is because of the World Cup break and it would be stupid of me not to use that time to rejuvenate, to recover, to reflect and to improve,” Potter said.
