I wanted to bring Messi – Al Nassr manager, Garcia reacts to Ronaldo’s arrival

Al Nassr manager, Rudi Garcia, has joked that he wanted to bring Paris Saint-Germain forward Lionel Messi to his team.

Garcia said this while reacting to Al-Nassr’s latest signing, Cristiano Ronaldo’s arrival.

Ronaldo joined Al Nassr in a staggering $200 million move last Friday after his abrupt Manchester United exit.

The Portugal captain will soon be unveiled at a mega event hosted by Al-Nassr fans to welcome their biggest-ever signing.

However, Garcia has jokingly claimed that he wanted to bring Argentina’s World Cup-winning captain Messi before Ronaldo.

Speaking to the press ahead of Ronaldo’s unveiling ceremony at Mrsool Park, Garcoa said (via MARCA): “First, I wanted to bring Messi from Doha.”
