“I am satisfied with the choice I made” – Gov Eno speaks on defection to APC

Governor Umo Eno of Akwa Ibom has stated that his decision to join the All Progressives Congress (APC) is strategic and in the best interest of the people of the state.

Speaking with journalists after revalidating his membership at Ikot Ekpene Udo in Nsit Ubium LGA, Eno said he is fully satisfied with the choice he has made.

“I am fully satisfied with the choice I have made,” he said.

The governor flagged off a month-long APC registration exercise across all wards in the state on August 4.

He said the initiative is aimed at identifying genuine party members and eliminating impersonation within the party’s ranks.

Eno explained that the ongoing exercise would help clarify the party’s internal structure and strengthen its grassroots mobilisation.

Welcoming new members into the APC, the governor urged them to stay focused and ignore critics.

He called on party members to support President Bola Tinubu’s administration, adding that unity and collective effort would take the APC to greater heights.
