Harry Redknapp volunteers to help Tottenham after 6-1 defeat

Former Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp has said that he would happily return to the club if they asked him to.

The 76-year-old legendary manager coached the north London side from 2008 to 2012 and there have been calls for him to go back to the club and manage them until the end of the season.

The Englishman said he would happily return to help his former side.

Redknapp was asked on talkSPORT if he would go back to Tottenham, and he said: “It is very, very unlikely they will come knocking for me.

“But if they did, of course, I’d go back and take it.

“I am not here sitting by the phone waiting for a call, that is for sure.”
