Manchester City’s goal machine, Erling Haaland is set to join Barcelona if Kylian Mbappe signs with Real Madrid, according to El Nacional.

Mbappe is most likely to join Real Madrid this summer or the next transfer window when he becomes a free agent.

Los Blancos have been linked with the player for a long time now and the Frenchman has already informed PSG about his desire to leave when his deal expires next summer.

As such, the striker could be sold this summer as the Parisians are reluctant to lose one of the best players in the world on a free transfer next season.

According to the report, If Mbappe completes a move to the Madrid giants, Haaland might look to join Barcelona.

It is worth noting that the Norwegian was one of Barca’s top transfer targets before they decided to go for Robert Lewandowski.

Mbappe and Haaland were the two most prolific goalscorers during the 2022-23 campaign.

The Frenchman netted 41 times and provided 10 assists in 43 matches across competitions while Haaland scored 52 goals and provided nine assists in 53 matches across competitions.
