Garba: Tinubu’s CSU academic record: ‘Opposition going against the law’

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Adamu Garba, has charged the 2023 Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, to stop creating a court of public opinion over the academic record of President Bola Tinubu.

Garba accused Atiku of creating a process that goes against the laws of Nigeria.

In a post on X, the APC chieftain said records have shown that Tinubu attended the Chicago State University, CSU.

This is coming against the backdrop of Atiku’s expedition to CSU to expose Tinubu.

However, CSU had confirmed that Tinubu attended the institution despite some discrepancies in his certificates.

Reacting to the saga, Garba wrote: “President Tinubu did attend the CSU, passed with distinction, and was confirmed by the CSU themselves. I don’t understand what the opposition truly wants by creating their own process, which directly went against the law.

“Tinubu is the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

“If you disagree, go through the normal procedure, not to create a court of public opinion. Follow the rules of Electoral Act 2022 as amended.”
