Form formidable force with Tinubu – Dogara begs Osinbajo, Amaechi, others 

A former Speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara, has reacted to the emergence of Bola Tinubu as the All Progressives Congress, APC, presidential candidate.

Dogara urged other presidential aspirants to close ranks and work with Tinubu ahead of the 2023 elections.

He urged other Presidential aspirant’s to form a formidable force with Tinubu in the interest of APC.

In a tweet, Dogara wrote: “I congratulate my Leader, His Excellency, Senator @officialABAT on this historic victory & emergence as the standard flag-bearer of our great party @OfficialAPCNg.

“I urge all aspirants to close ranks & form a formidable force ahead of the #2023NigeriaElections.”

Tinubu emerged APC presidential candidate after defeating aspirants like Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, Rotimi Amaechi, Dave Umahi, among others.

The former Lagos State Governor garnered 1,271 to defeat his closest challenger, Amaechi, who polled 316.

Osinbajo came third with 235 votes.
