FIFA orders Egyptian club to pay Nigerian forward $70,000

The Federation of International Football Association (FIFA) has ordered Egyptian club, Smouha SC to pay Nigeria forward, Junior Ajayi $70,000.

Ajayi reported Smouha to the world’s soccer ruling body after he was abandoned by the club.

The versatile forward sustained an injury during a friendly against Canal Club in October 2022.

The 27-year-old claimed he was left unattended to by the club and is also being owed salary dues.

FIFA has given Smouha 15 days to pay Ajayi the sum of $70,000.

He joined the club last October after severing ties Libyan outfit, Al-Nasr Benghazi.
