CUSTECH receives Gov. Yahaya Bello On Campus, Inspects Ongoing Projects

The campus of Confluence University of Science and Technology (CUSTECH), Osara went agog on Saturday 3rd September, 2022 as the Executive Governor of Kogi State, Alh. Yahaya Bello paid a working visit to the campus of the ivory tower that his administration founded in the year 2021.

CUSTECH, Osara is lucky to be one of the institutions that its take off site is also serving as the permanent site.

Receiving the Governor and his entourage, the Vice Chancellor, Engr. Prof. Salawu Sadiku and the Management Team and Staff of CUSTECH, Osara welcomed the Governor in front of the Administrative Building before embarking on the journey to inspect the ongoing structural projects within the vast land housing CUSTECH, Osara.

His Excellency, Alh. Yahaya Bello together with his entourage and the Management Team of CUSTECH, Osara visited the ongoing structural projects namely: Faculty of Engineering, Faculty of Information and Informatics, Faculty of Basic Medical Health Sciences, the University Senate Building and the University Library. In addition, the Governor also inspected the ongoing projects at CUSTECH, Osara (Faculty of Environmental Technology, Faculty of Management and Social Sciences, Faculty of Sciences and a 500 seater Lecture Theatre) embarked upon by Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFUND).

His Excellency, Alh. Yahaya Bello who took his ample time to access all the ongoing projects promised to visit CUSTECH, Osara on a regular basis to see to the speedy completion of the different projects. Alh. Yahaya Bello also danced gracefully to the many Ebira Ikede songs sang by the Osara Community (the host community of CUSTECH) eulogizing him for his thoughtfulness which has led to the establishment of the University within their community.
