Chris Igbokwe Foundation commend Audi, donates security gadgets to NSCDC

As part of measures to ensure the safety, and security of lives and property as well as surveillance of critical national assets and infrastructure, the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) took delivery of SECTA Rechargeable Security LED Flashlight Kits from a Non- Governmental Organization, Chris Igbokwe Foundation.

Commandant General of NSCDC, Professor Ahmed Audi mni, OFR who received the gadgets on behalf of the Corps in his office said officers of the NSCDC remain committed just as he assured Nigerians of the security of lives and properties.

Audi while urging Nigerians to have faith in security agencies saddled with the responsibility of ensuring law and order in the country said the NSCDC is determined to ensure adequate protection of lives and property, including carrying out its mandate of securing critical national assets and infrastructures.

While thanking Chris Igbokwe foundation, he further urged citizens to continue to support the government’s peace efforts by collaborating with appropriate authorities in tackling the menace of insecurity.

Audi also gave the assurance that the gadgets donated will be optimally utilized, stating that “anything being given has been given as a trust.

The Chief Executive Officer of the Foundation, Chris Igbokwe accompanied by some members of the foundation said they are “very passionate” about giving back to the society and has created the foundation to uplift and restore the dignity and lives of Africans especially Nigerians who are in serious needs.

Presenting the SECTA Rechargeable Security LED Flashlight Kits the foundation CEO, Igbokwe said the security of lives and property remains a collective responsibility that should not be left for government alone.

He applauded the NSCDC under the leadership of Prof. Audi as officers of the corps have always distinguished and carryout their duties with all sense of responsibility and respect for Nigerians.

He said all the achievements recorded under the leadership of the Commandant General of the NSCDC, Professor Ahmed Audi mni, OFR cannot and will never be forgotten in the history of Security Chiefs in Nigeria and should be rewarded with laudable commendations.
Chief Chris Igbokwe also listed other activities of the Foundation to include: assistance to the less privilege, reward for excellent service delivery to schools management, scholarship with promising academic future in various secondary schools and institutions of higher learning, among others.

In the same development, the National Coordinator Stand Up Nigeria Sunday Attah commended the Commandant General Ahmed Audi for his tireless efforts in ensuring that security is given priority.

He said from a close observation by all the CSOs, NSCDC under the leadership of Prof Audi has recorded tremendous achievements that has reshaped the corps and also improve security operations across the country especially the creation of Mining Marshals and the counter-terrorism unit (CTU) which has not only improved security but has also boosted and generated revenue to the federation account.
