Chelsea midfielder to make U-turn in leaving Stamford Bridge over Pochettino

Chelsea midfielder may end up staying at Stamford Bridge if the club appoints Mauricio Pochettino as manager.

This, according to talkSPORTS, would help convince Mason Mount to stay.

Chelsea have now resumed their talk for a new contract for the midfielder, who is a target for Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool.

Reports in England said that discussions with the former Tottenham boss Pochettino about being Graham Potter’s long-term successor are at an advanced stage.

The Blues had been interested in ex-Bayern Munich boss Julian Nagelsmann before the German pulled out of the race.

Now, Nagelsmann is a contender for the Spurs job – and Rangers legend Ally McCoist believes Chelsea are getting a better manager.
