The New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) presidential campaign committee spokesperson Barrister Abubakar Yesufu has poured encomiums on Sen. Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso Ph.D. FSNE, for being the only presidential candidate that valued Nigerians enough to attend last week’s presidential debate organized by BON and NEDG which was held at the International Conference Center, Abuja, where he shared his plans for solving the myriads of problems besetting the Nation.
Sen. Kwankwaso, during the program, answered all the questions put across to him and went further to regale the listening audience with his enormous potential and ability to demystify governance at the highest level.
The ease with which he answered all the questions captured the very imaginations of Nigerians and invariably won their hearts to emerge victorious at the rapidly approaching presidential elections in a few weeks.
Barrister Yesufu, therefore, used the opportunity to call on Nigerians not to waste their votes on any other candidate but Kwankwaso. He dismissed the actions of those who failed to attend the debate as purely infantile and opportunistic.
“If you fail to turn up before elections at a forum where Nigerians wish to hear of your plans, is it when you are elected in office that you will do it”, queried the NNPP spokesman.
Barrister Yesufu then hailed Sen. Kwankwanso for being the only true and authentic leader who has locked up the north and is courting the South for their support. He drew the attention of Nigerians to the fact that no true leader from the north has ever amassed wealth the way other presidential candidates have done of late.
“From late Ahmadu Bello, Alhaji Tafawa Balewa, Alhaji Shehu Shagari, Alhaji Aminu Kano, and even now President Muhammadu Buhari, no true leader from the north has exhibited such vulgar wealth as those presently masquerading as leaders”, claimed Abubakar.
“The shoes are too big for them to fill especially for people like Atiku Abubakar who has been shifting from party to party in pursuit of his personal ambition.
“The problem of Nigeria at the moment can only be handled by serious-minded politicians like Kwankwaso who is focused and well prepared to deliver the goods”, he said, insisting that Atiku and his irks stands no chance of winning even their ward in the forthcoming general elections.
He predicted that Nigerians would reject them flatly at the forthcoming polls. The NNPP spokesman further described Alhaji Atiku as being too ambitious and far removed from the people. “Atiku has nothing to offer; he has been too selfish and deceptive and therefore should be retired permanently this time around”, he said.
The NNPP spokesman explained that Sen. Rabiu Kwankwanso is as accepted in the north just as in the South and is set to prove that fact come February 25 after inheriting Muhammadu Buhari’s 12 million votes due to his undisputed popularity.
The NNPP spokesman went on to carpet Alhaji Bola Ahmed Tinubu for playing pranks with Nigerians and consequently predicted his imminent humiliation on election day. “This is a kingmaker who left his apparel and decided to contest for the throne meant for his children”, he stated, adding that as far as he is concerned Alhaji Tinubu will be defeated even if he marries 100 women from Katsina.
“The presidential throne is not for sale neither is it for the craftiest; Tinubu has long ruled himself out of the race by his crass ignorance of the working of government”, he stressed, advising other candidates to throw in the towel before D-day or face humiliating defeat.
Turning to the media, Yesufu urged them to be courageous in calling politicians who treat matters of importance to order, warning that, it is time to call a spade a spade. “The media is the last hope of the common man; they should live up to this expectation and not relax”.
He, therefore, challenged them to sit up and make this 2023 election the best ever in Nigeria’s history. “They should use all the arsenals at their disposal to give charlatans like Atiku Abubakar and Bola Tinubu a befitting farewell from Nigeria’s political scene, he stated
