2023: Former Anambra Gov. Ezeife Urges Nigerians to reject Tinubu, Atiku

BY Augustine Aminu

Former governor of Anambra State, Chukwuemeka Ezeife has said the 2023 presidential election is critical to the future of the country, and only Peter Obi has the capacity and character

Ezeife who spoke in Abuja at the launch of the book, “Peter Obi, Business Unusual” urged Nigerians to reject the APC and PDP, saying both parties have contribute to the poor state where the country currently finds itself.

Besides, he said there was a gentleman agreement that in order to keep the unity of the country, it was agreed that power ahoul rotate between the north and south.

“Today, any northern candidate who says he is going for president doesn’t want Nigeria to survive. He wants Nigeria to disintegrate. When you embrace injustice, then you don’t want unity,” he said.

The former Anambra state Governor also explained that the choice would have been between Obi and Tinubu, but on the basis of micro zoning in the south, Peter Obi is the right candidate to emerge as the president, as he comes from the southeast, a region that has not produced any presidential in the current democratic dispensation.

He said, “We want Nigerian to work beginning from now. We don’t want bullion van politics. When they come with money to bribe you, People should take their money, it’s your money stolen from you one way or thr other

“Bullionvan politics is dead politics. Because you are brought and when you are bought, you have no mouth to question the person when they get to office.

“Bullionvan politics was played by APC and PDP. What we sre saying is enough is enough. Those who practices that kind of politics should go and rest. Nigerians should be talking of new parties, not the old order”

To make Nigeria stand as one country, we agreed on rotation between the north and south.

Also speaking, Afenerr leader, Asebanjo there is need for the youth to tack back the counter.

He said, We have expectations, Peter Obi he has a great burden. Our demands as Afenefere is that Nigeria should be restructured.
