Arsenal manager, Mikel Arteta, has said Eddie Nketiah is a doubt for Saturday’s Premier League clash against Bournemouth.
Nketiah has been left on the bench for the last two matches against Everton and Leicester City.
Speaking to the media on Friday, Arteta was asked if Nketiah was limping after the 4-0 win over the Toffees on Wednesday.
He replied, “He was. We are assessing him and it’s a bit uncertain what’s going to happen with him in the training session but let’s see.
“Let’s keep the options open. Hopefully, it will be fine.”
Arteta was also asked about Jorginho, who was withdrawn at half-time in the win over Everton due to illness.
“Jorginho is fine. He had an illness and he was suffering but he put in a great effort in the first half. He’s fit now,” he said.
