Adeyanju fears politicians may tamper with INEC BVAS

Ahead of the 2023 general elections, an activist, Deji Adeyanju, has sent a message to Nigerians, warning against electoral fraud.

With the introduction of the Biometric Voters Accreditation System (BVAS) by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), many Nigerians are optimistic that rigging might have become a thing of the past in the nation’s electoral system.

But, Adeyanju said those with that kind of optimism do not know Nigerian politicians can do.

He said: “The people saying BVAS will help solve electoral fraud don’t know Nigerian politicians. SMH!”

In a post on his social media handle, Adeyanju charged opposition parties to focus on how to prevent rigging at polling units.

“The hopeless opposition in Nigeria should go focus on how to prevent rigging at polling units or splitting their votes in favor of Tinubu and stop making noise all over the place,” he stated.
