549 deaths due to floods in Pakistan

More than 500 people have died in floods caused by heavy rains in Pakistan. Thousands of people have lost their homes.

Among them, the citizens of Baluchistan, the poorest province of the country, suffered the most damage from the floods.

Press TV reported quoting the country’s National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA), as of Friday (August 5), 549 people had died in the floods.

Meanwhile, government agencies and the army have set up aid and relief camps in flood-affected areas with the help of the flood victims.More than 46,200 houses were damaged in the floods.

After visiting the affected areas, Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif said that we are doing our best for the relief and rehabilitation of the flood victims.
