Wayne Rooney names two clubs he wants to manage

Former Manchester United captain, Wayne Rooney, is refusing to give up on his dream to manage in the Premier League.

Rooney has now admitted that Everton and Manchester United are his dream clubs.

The 38-year-old spent a combined 16 years at Goodison Park and Old Trafford as a player.

He is now looking forward to a return to either club in a managerial capacity.

Rooney is currently out of job, following a dismal spell at Birmingham City, where he was sacked after just three months in charge.

“I definitely want to get back into management.

“The aim is to manage in the Premier League eventually, Manchester United or Everton are the dream jobs, but it’s a process.

“In the next 10 years hopefully I can be in with a chance of taking one of the top jobs,” Rooney said on BBC One.
