U-20 World Cup: Flying Eagles off to Argentina May 6

The Flying Eagles of Nigeria will depart for Argentina on May 6 for their final preparations for the 2023 FIFA U-20 World Cup.

A proposed training tour of Spain has been called off, and the team will now have an extended stay in Argentina before the start of the competition.

Ladan Bosso’s side will engage in a series of friendlies while in Argentina.

The World Cup will run from May 20 to June 11 in Argentina.

The Flying Eagles will take on debutants Dominican Republic in their first game in Mendoza on May 21.

The two-time finalists will also lock horns with Italy and Brazil in the same group.
