Sha,aban Joins Kano Guber Race, Faults Stabilization Account System

Honorable Sha’aban Ibrahim Sharada yesterday, before thousands of his supporters in Kano, declared his intention to join in the race for the governorship position in the State.

Sha’aban who represents Kano Municipal at the House of Representatives had recently dumped the Ruling APC for Action Democratic Party ADP along side his numerous followers.

According to him, the decision to join the race is part of struggle to librate the poor masses from untold sufferings the ruling party has thrown the nation into, hence, his resolve to join the party with wide acceptability.

Sharada who lamented over refusal of governors to grant local governments Autonomy faulted the Stabilization Account System which he said is used to syphon public funds.

“They have refused to grant the local governments Autonomy.

They have introduced a system called stabilization account where they force local government authorities to sign checks or return funds into the account but end up using it for personal and political activities.

Before now, our local governments offices and secretariats were bubbling with life but today, they have become inactive, this we hope to address”, he added.

Also, the ADP gubernatorial candidate during the official declaration at Sani Abacha Youth Centre, Kano, promised effective healthcare system where the public can access quality health services.

During the event, not fewer than sixty thousand decampee from other parties including APC joined the ADP in the State.

Sha’aban called on everyone with the interest of the state at heart to join him to salvage the state and it’s people from the mess of present day government.
