Rep Akande-Sadipe inaugurates school projects, 7 transformers in Ibadan

Rep. Tolulope Akande-Sadipe (APC-Oluyole) has inaugurated seven school projects, seven transformers, among others facilitated by her to the Oluyole Federal Constituency in Ibadan, Oyo State.

This is contained in a statement signed by her Media Aide, Olamilekan Olusada on Saturday in Ibadan.

According to reports, Akande-Sadipe is the Chairman, House of Representatives Committee on Diaspora Matters.

Reports that Akande-Sadipe inaugurated seven school projects, seven transformers and five boreholes for her constituents.

She said the school projects are located at Ajofeebo, Agbamu, Ifesowapo, Boluwaji and Olonde areas of Oluyole.

The lawmaker said that the classrooms were equipped with chairs, tables and modern instructional materials, while dilapidated structures were replaced with comfortable desk and chairs.

Akande-Sadipe said that the newly inaugurated 500/32 KVA capacity transformers were located at Ajofeebo; Oorelope Isale-Alfa; Kolajo;
Olomi; Idi-Ayunre Police Station and Alata.

She said that the solar-powered boreholes were located in Temidire- Agbamu; Ile Baale Omiyale; Alagba Olomi; Ajisola and Seko area of Oluyole.

On the inauguration of a borehole, Akande-Sadipe said that the provision of water was a fulfilment of her commitment to the wellbeing of her constituency.

She said the development gladden her heart having been able to provide safe water to her constituency.

The Chairman, House of Representatives Committee on Diaspora Matters, said she had also facilitated electricity and quality education in the constituency.

“The 5,000 litres solar-powered boreholes throughout the wards of Oluyole Federal Constituency, is a significant milestone for our local government.

“The provision of 500/33KVA transformers being inaugurated today in different locations is one of our major campaign pillars.

“Many of these communities have lived without electricity for years and I pray this will definitely provide relief to our people,” she said.

Akande-Sadipe said that provision of solar-powered street lights would improve security in the communities at night and promote small-scale businesses.

“Several of these communities have also benefited from the last batch of 100 solar street lights facilitated by me.

“This is just the start of the inauguration; there are many more to visit in the coming weeks,” she said.
